Custom Reconciles Us To Do Everything – Expansion of Ideas

Custom-reconciles-us-to-everything expansion of ideas

In modern context, one gets used to anything. The longer he puts up with it, however irritating, unpleasant or irksome it may be, the more able he gets adapted to it. It becomes part of his life and he accepts it as such. For example, if we move into a house near airport, for a few days the noise of the airplanes keeps us conscious. We get frustrated. But, with time, we get used to it, perhaps unable to sleep without it. Our mind gets accustomed to hearing the sounds. Actually, we have to keep adapting ourselves to the ever changing situations. When we shift to a new place, we have to reconcile ourselves. We have to synthesize our own values, customs and traditions with those of the new society. Change is inevitable.
